The model 824 is a medium profile, multi-flash strobe light which can be changed by the customer from double flash to quad flash operation. It features universal mounting, full size 360° LexanŽ polycarbonate lens, high efficiency regulated solid state power supply, and heavy duty xenon strobe lamp. The 12-28 volt DC units have polarity protection and builtin filters to protect against radio interference and spike voltages. The 120VAC units are designed to withstand multiple line transient spikes of 6000V without damage. The model 824 strobe features a fully potted, LexanŽ, multi-purpose mounting base which is vibration and water resistant, and has a plug-in strobe lamp and PHOTOCELL, which can be activated to automatically reduce intensity during nighttime operation. Optional Smooth Exterior Lens (Dust Cover) helps keep light intensity high in dirty or dusty atmospheres. The AC unit has 1/2" NPT pipe mount or add the optional flange base by checking above 800FLG. The DC model can be flange mounted (standard feature) or 1/2" NPT pipe mount. All Polycarbonate Housing, 17 joule output for double flash, and 25 joule output for quad flash, UL Listed (120 and 240 Vac Model), Weatherproof, Temp Range -40C to +71C, 68-72 flashes per minute-Double Flash, 58-62 flashes per minute-Quad Flash. A PhotoCell for reduced output at Night, double or quad super bright flashes--these are unique features for a strobe light at this price. No metal to corrode (excluding chrome flange), or threads to seize.
